STRAWBERRY PICKING
A twin size - 56"x72" vintage toile summer quilt - no batting - it is tied with pink embroidery thread. The backing is a lovely pink background with blue flowers and is made of floursacks. The backing has two small darning repairs and is seamed lengthwise. The front's beautiful print is an ecru shade. The oval areas which contain the children measure approximately 5 1/2 inches.This piece has NOT been washed or ironed and may wash up brighter than it now is. The fabrics are strong. The edges are darker due to not being washed.
The quilt is considered to be in very good condition, and believed to date from the late 1920s to the 1930s.
Great for use or display.
